Today marks the 14th Anniversary of the death of our daughter Leigh Ann who was tragically killed by an individual who was driving a vehicle while under the influence of methadone, marijuana, oxpizepam and temazepam.
As Leigh Ann's parents we were able to share our emotional appeal exposing the all-too-true dangers of risky behaviors in Suzonne Underwood new book . Our chapter is titled "The Truth". "Truthful words stand the test of time, but lies are soon exposed."Proverbs 12:19.
We hope the these Memories of Leigh Ann, our Beloved Daughter, Wonderful Sister and Unforgettable friend has in some way touched your heart, opened your eyes to the fact that impaired driver's causing crashes don't discriminate. They affect the rich, poor, young, old, weak and strong . Our tragic story describes the senseless loss of our loved one Leigh Ann who never had the chance to fully realize her dreams. We hope Leigh Ann' s story has heighten your awareness of the tragedy caused by impaired drivers, so that others will not have to experience the pain and suffering survivors live with daily.
Inspired to write her first book out of the concern for her daughters and other teens in our changing world, Author Suzonne Evans Underwood's new book, Growing With Grace, addresses concerns about the dangers of underage drinking and other risky behaviors with her daughters.
